nope, i really would have no use for it to be honest, i use my ps3 to watch Blue ray and hardly ever write stuff to discs.

Currently just using my old ASUS CD re writer from my old q6600 build, this will do me for time being anyways :D

No no no......

Such a sweet build and its got some old banger CD writer....:(

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated as always !

I take it your running Windows XP? Vista is better optimized for SSD drives there is quite a lot of information in the OCZ forum that would apply to most SSD drives - http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=186

I would check the stickies at the top of the forum, there will be quite a few tweaks you will need to do e.g. disabling paging file or running it on a normal drive.

Thanks a lot mate, im currently running vista 64 bit, having a read through these posts now, they seem to agree that 64 is the ideal stripe size for raid 0 also which is what i currently have it set at, im starting to wonder if it may be something else causing my system to run super slow... its driving me nuts

the 3rd gpu...how did you fit that without it conflicting with the usb and hardrive front panel light ports on the motherboard?I could not fit a third card because of this as i couldnt plugin the wire on the usb socket.....nice pc by the way;)

oh yeah yeah card in the middle will not get that hot...i have the same setup in sli without the third card

it was a bit of a squeeze, the usb ports fit in ok but were just a bit squashed under the card, the lights/power/reset buttons etc just had to be installed without using the big white adaptor thing they supply with the motherboard, im not sure what the point in that is anyway... but yeah without it you can fit in a 3rd card no problem

looks nice mate, very jealous here! ignore all the people criticizing, like you said your getting years of fun out of it. the enjoyment/knowledge learnt from building it, overclocking it etc etc, if i had the cash spare id do the same!

have u got GTA IV? bench from that?

thanks so much for your support dude, yeah will be getting GTA4, GRID, Crysis , L4D, Farcry 2 and a few others as soon as i sort my hard drives out, will be posting back with the benchmark results as soon as i can, have set up a RMA for my SSD's so looking to take them back tomorrow along with the case that was too small so should have something by tomorrow night for ya.

OMG the vertex series are sooooooo much better than the crucials, flashed both of the 30gb drives and they run like a dream in raid 0. No issues so far, will post benchmark of the speed as soon as all my drivers are installed
