It's better to use the DVI cable supplied with the monitor as that's how you'll get 120Hz.
just put the dual link cable in and it has come up with 120hrz in the options now thanks

looks nicewhat is the intel cooler like?
just one question though at the bottom of the mother board ive got a digi display and its displaying numbers and somtimes letters but im not sure what it is
They're the Q-Code LED's.
They display the system status.
They should count up during the POST process and will display an error code if the POST process fails for some reason.
They uses numbers and letters as they uses a hexadecimal system for counting.
Once the system has posted successfully they should settle on a final code.
See pages 2-22 to 2-25 in the user manual.

Looks about right compared to the other scores.
Heaven is mainly a GPU intensive benchmark so overclocking the CPU may help a touch but you'll see most improvement if you fancy having a go at overclocking the GPU.

im happy with it as it is atm ive just played abit more of skyrim with the 120hrz sleceted now and wow it looks amazing![]()

Fair enough.
At least you know it's working as expected.
Enjoy![]()

That cooler has had a very low key entry on to the market, when in 2011 did it come out?
Cheers buddy, very interesting. Quite pricey though!
