My new weekend toy - Supra TT :-)

Tidy, bet it smelt like paint first time it got hot....

What about the intercooler, we're past the being bent anniversary?

The smell is awful and takes a few weeks for it to go :( I haven't straightened it yet, I am going to modify the silicone hose and add a bend in, the pipe from the intercooler is forced making the IC bent, the solution is to have a 45 degree silicone hose. Job for this weekend. I have a boost leak and im fairly sure its coming from that side too so not excuses this time :)

Why you do dis, Everytime you post an update I go straight to autotrader dreaming :(

I'll be updating this thread with many pictures once the weather improves.

Top job - looks amazing!

cheers.

Looking good, haven't seen one of these on the road's for so long. Always reminds me of the getaway in stockholm movies!

they are rare but I have 2 friends who own 1 in the same town and know of 2 others.

Looks great, much nicer than blue silicone hose draped everywhere and every colour in the anodisers chemical box. Remind me what the crackle paint was you used, I did ask on the Supra forum I think.

lol fancy seeing you here Chris! never saw you as a computer geek :) The brand is VHT black wrinkle

Fantastic effort, this looks pretty damn perfect. I've currently got mine in bodyshop getting sprayed. Have been waiting to order a set of these wheels too, debating on width in 18's...but looking about, the car just looks so much better on 19's, so i'll be going that way i think.
What pcd and offset did you go for on them? The pics look like the 114.3/120 (inner/outer) for which the only option is ET22 - that right? The other option is 112/114.3 ET35 so just wanted to check so i know the fitment is gonna be spot on. Advice appreciated :)

It looks great now. I got to moan about how the strut bar is not at right angle with the engine though, makes me strangely uneasy, much like the skewed intercooler :p

You've really gone to school, great attention to detail!

Cheers. More updates to come

Love the enthusiasm and progress, wonderful to see.

Cheers. Spend too much time on it lol

Hey fellow supra owner. I would pick 19s all day as they fill the arches nice
My offsets are on the rears 9.5" ET22 265/30/19 the fronts were 9.5 ET35 however the design of the wheel fudged my UK callipers so fitted longer wheel studs and 10mm spacer making it a ET25. I think if you want 8.5 ET22 it would work. Willtheyfit.com is a good place to start

It's a TRD copy strut could it be that the picture is not angled? The IC I'm working on later today hopefully

Damn near perfect Supra! Get it on a big single ;)

Since late last year I got schooled by a 550bhp Evo its on my list of things to do lol I'm going to do it in stages though so ECU and injectors and remap with my hybrids that's roughly going to cost 6k the turbo kit is 4K . Just can't afford 10k in one big go.

Sorry but how does it cost 6k for a set of injectors, an ecu and mapping? That's absolutely crazy.

Sorry includes a fuel system upgrade too. ECU alone is 2500£ fuel system 1000£ mapping £500 injectors fuel rail £1000 labour £1000

Once this is done the car is ready for a turbo kit and 700bhp here we come :)

Hey :D :P Yea, it looks spot on! Ah well ET22 is only an extra 3mm so should be fine to go for that all round! I'm looking to put the 4pots from an LS400 on at some point so will need the space to do that too!

How much scope for further lowering have you got as it stands or is that ride height the best you can get without scraping on lock? Even through that level is pretty damn perfect!

Well my tyre choice on the fronts were 245/35/19 they should really be 30 but I wanted a bit of a wall as my drive is low. I have it as low as its going to get and yes full locks im touching the arch liner :( had I can profile 30 I would have been ok on the locks.

I'm the same, i want some sidewall, but hate arch gaps so will happily reduce lock angle to get rid of some gap! The back of yours sits perfect, and i like to have just a little nose down if i can, nice aggessive stance. I'll probs stick at 35 too and see how it goes. Intention is to get camber arms for it anyways so i can run a couple of degs and that always tucks the top of the tyre in - so that should solve the issue.
