My new weekend toy - Supra TT :-)

My mate at work has had a white Supra for 4 years. It's so wide and low I struggled getting out of it in, Morrisons car park. Big empty car park and he parks next to someone, on my side. Git. He had it lowered a while ago but not been in it since.

Sorted my speedo issue out, it was actually the cog on the speed sensor, cheap fix £16! My rev counter still remains broken though. Coming up next for the car are some carbon goodies, waiting for midnight before I start buying some more bits mainly for the bay. I really want a top secret carbon bonnet too but there not cheap.

Ill be doing a full tracking/geo soon and under sealing as I may take her out for the odd blast during winter. tempted to buy some stock rims for winter too, spending never stops! :(

Anyways, everyone likes pics :)

Looks fantastic with the new wheels on. Love it. Although need to get rid of the fake carbon in the engine bay.

Cheers, the fake stuff will be replaced eventually but after some maintenance and more likely after my wedding
Really nice but your going to be talking crazy money for a conversion

Yes its at least a 10k conversion :(

Not a Supra fan, but those wheels looks really good!

thanks, took me months to decide, I almost spent 3.5k on a set but came to my senses... yes these are not branded like Work wheels but they look great :)

Those wheels I think transform that car and suit it very well.

That colour is very nice and the photo's are awesome.

Driven a manual back in the day and found the Supra incredibility tail happy especially the Twin-Turbo!

Preferred my R33 GTR :p

Never driven an Auto Supra and could never see me buy one, each to their own. :D

Thank you. Yes when the 2nd turbo comes on its a kick that generally gets people especially in damp conditions...a lot of people knock the autos (usually those who have never driven them) but they are awesome, very responsive,, shame its 4 gears though but for 20 year old tech I think its better than most modern autos these days (obviously not DSG, PDK etc). My model was not available with a manual because its an aerotop, so If I wanted a manual its a conversion for me which is at least 5-6k easily. If I do change it though it will be the 7 speed BMW gearbox as shown above.

Intercooler still wonky? :D

Looks great though :)

Errm I did put it as straight as possible however the bodyshop who fitted my auto cooler put it in a position that fudges the pipe work for the IC, so I need to remove and relocate a few bits. I do plan to get a new IC anyway just waiting for funds :(

I bet, think he's turned into a feature now though, we'll be celebrating it's anniversary soon. :-)

The anniversary of it being bent is in Feb :D

Not updated this thread for a while...

March Update

Got my first piece of real carbon for under the bonnet...

AND i want MORE!
Best part is it cost me £30 delivered from a member, It doesn't compare to a whifbitz carbon shroud but its sure dam a lot cheaper!

Going to be selling my hydro dipped parts to help fund some of it and get the rest of it slowly

Anyways pics :) oh and I really need to bolt down my spark plug cover.. :)

I dismantled the throttle body side of the car before I went away for a work trip to Canada..... I had the intention of sending it someone to paint but I spent a lot in Canada so I decided to paint them myself, now I have managed to paint the cam covers but the TB side scares the **** out of me as ive heard stories. Anyway, took my time, took ages to mask stuff! and here are the results

Bought a 3" intercooler pipe a while ago with a HKS SSQ welded in, I sent this off to be painted gloss black, I then decided to wrinkle paint the SSQ so it wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb.
