My Official £50-£46,000 betting challenge

I think if I manage to make £100 from the £12 then I will split the pot between two different bets, rather then all in.

That's a good idea I guess - That way if one bet loses you can start again but from a higher bank :p

I was seriously going to give this a go.. So logged onto my Skybet account and realised I had £3 in there, so thought, ah, might as well use some of this up on some in-play bets considering Arsenal were playing...

So, initially put Fulham to win 2-1 before Djurou got sent off @ 34/1 but changed as I was placing the bet to 20/1 as he got sent off just at that point, but not a bad return from a £1 bet ;)

May just withdraw this now and use it as a starting point for betfair :)

Start: £12.00
Day 1: £15.91 (+32%)
Day 2: £21.44 (+35%)
Day 3: £25.25 (+18%)
Day 4: £26.56 (+5%)
Day 5: £29.29 (+10%)

That's probably me for today, a few simple very low risk bets. That makes 40 bets without losing a single one.

Ooooof what happened with Arsenal :p

Nevermind, first bet is a win :p

I've decided not to limit mine to three bets a day. If I have time to spare, and my money isn't in play, it'll be put into play :p

Day 0: £10
Day 1: £14.70 (+47%)

I'm not limiting myself, if I see a good opportunity I will put it on. Your chances don't change whether you make your bets in one day or one week. :p

I've certainly went down the route of splitting my money across several bets to avoid losing it all. If I hadn't I would have already been wiped out.

I'll stick £10 down on roulette. If I win £20 I'll take £10 back and bet £10 on this method. If I lose, well, thats life. :D

First I need £10. :D

Day 0: £12
Day 1: £17.40

Now splitting my bets 50% to try to prevent a total loss situation.

Are you just doing Football bets? And are you sticking to 1.02 bets or are you doing others?

I've done three bets tonight and made about 96 pence :p

That is based on around 12 bets :o I like the inplay function and yes a few are over the 1.02 marker (1.08 being highest)

Most bets have come from inplay when a match is in the second half, it seems slightly less risky then before it starts.

Ahh cool :) Yeah the in-play feature is really useful :)

Cocked up yesterday but learnt from my mistake so deposited the same back in and carrying on.

Lesson learnt: stick to your odds limit and never bet on Under 3.5. I bet on a game to be Under 3.5 when it was 1-0 at 65mins. Within 3 minutes there'd been 3 goals. Fail!

Just done some quick sums based on results so far this season for the different leagues for the odds of any game having more than 5 goals in it:-

Premier League - 6.6%
The Championship - 3.5%
SPL - 7.6%
