My Official £50-£46,000 betting challenge

Lol, that's me out. Leeds-Burnley to draw with 1 minute left and Leeds go an get a winner in the 97th minute!

ouchy!

That's why i steer clear of that sort of bet.

It's only 1 goal needed to kill you, at least with under 4.5 or 5.5 goals you need 5 or 6 goals to kill you

Could you please post the formulas for the simple minded amongst us :)
Winnings = bet * odds
Commission = winnings * [whatever commission percent you are charged]
New balance = winnings - commission
% increase = ( ( new balance - bet ) / bet ) * 100
daily target = bet * [your target percentage]
ahead of target = new balance - daily target

***This only works if you bet your entire bank balance each time***

It's a nice idea :)

I'm going to start with a £10 bank and give this a go :)

I tried it about two years ago with Betfair, started with £10 and made it to around £200. Unfortunately, I got too cocky, put it on a bet that wasn't as sound as the other bets and lost it all.

The main rule, and memory taken from that experience is... Never deviate from the rule of 1.02. (Or whatever you've set it to)

Sounds like im gonna have to give this ago but set a target of something like £50 as i could actually do with the money :p. only problem being i don't really follow any sports so i'd be doing it purely based off the odds

I had to look up the length of a football match on wiki earlier  So I'm playing purely on the maths and the in play function.

Just logged into my Betfair account and deposited £10. And realised I already had £5 in my account. I'm £5 up already :p :D

If you use Betfair you may as well just use their betting history page rather than making a brand new spreadsheet.

yeah - if your just using your bank then betfair give you the option to download to excel spreadsheet.

I'm just using my own this time as I have other funds in betfair that are not committed to this £10 challenge.

My first official bet today...

£15 on the Arsenal game for them not to score more than 5.5 goals, where I'll win a whopping £0.30 :p

I've always wondered actually... What does the .5 mean?
