there's no way i'd be goin away this weekend if i knew i had that sittin at home. use the stock HSF to get you goin!

looks like it'll be sweeeet!!

i could do i suppose. don't like the idea of having the stock fan on the setup though. Suppose it's only for 4 days.

Maybe whilst the GF goes to work in the morning i'll set it up.

just having a read on Asus site and it seems i will need a bios update to be able to run the new D0 stepping chip.

If my board has the old bios should i flash it straight away before booting into windows?

what is recomended in this instance

it should work out of the box if you flash straight away

i would reccomend the 1303 bios

but it may be different for the v2 board

looking forward to another fortress build!

Looking forward to the results on this too, very nice spec there and i'm liking the fortress cases more and more now :)

back from easter guys. got some rough pics to show you as soon as photobucket loads them up.

i've not played with cable management as i've a new cooler and fans arriving tuesday.

tbh i'm not totally happy with it because i've not sorted anything out properly.

Got two Xigmatek fans arriving and a TRUE Black on Tuesday so will get them fitted and everything looking better hopefully.

Looking pretty good. Look forward to the finished article. Nice job on the floppy drive. I am impressed that you managed to get it installed without losing the little door.

But without wanting to burst your bubble, you have tried inserting/removing a disk haven't you? IIRC I had to remove the door for that very reason.

i've removed and installed a floppy no trouble. the door actually opens fully (with gental force) when it's required.

My camera doesn't do it justice so will take better pics tomorrow when new TRUE arrives.
