I prefer my Kama bay to the official silverstone one... I like the fact the kama is sleek to the front of the case instead of raised.
 
why is there a floppy drive in this beast? i hope its been removed now lol!!!
How much of an improvment was the jump from 2 4870's to the 5870?
 
650 watts on that rig + 2 g cards. would imagine its at max-ish?!

Very nice install. I've wanted that case for quite some time myself.
i just can be bothered to disconnect and reconnect in new case. lol

performance wise it is very much similar. but the feel of games just feels smoother. A lot quieter too as my two 4870's used to both be on 40% fan speeds and get quite warm.

i never had any power issues with the 650w. even when the cards were clocked it coped very well.

Sorry bad iphone picture with finger blur attached. It matches better in silver than black i think, and it's unbalanced if you put it in the middle drive bays - but balanced aesthetically in the top two. My DVD is inbetween the fan controller and the fan bay but is stealthed.

well that's a good name for it :) stuck.

i'm just waiting for the custom cooled 58xx cards to come out to finish it off, then will take some proper pictures.
 
Hi,

Would I be right to assume that the 5870 would fit that case with the upper drive bay still in place?

Its just that I have that case with 6 hard drives and won't be able to get a 5870 unless it fits the case with all drive bays present.
