You can look at it like bad mouthing the company or perhaps disclosing interview technique. but it's pretty harmless and just goes to show how something so simple can have big consequences. so remember kids - always use protection

Unless you have anonymity, there is no point bad mouthing your employer, especially on a Social Networking site.
Exactly why I don't sign up to social networking websites. I find it a good idea to keep online and offline life seperate.
We've done it at work to be honest. It can change your perception of people looking at their web personas especially before an interview. Sort of started off as a joke to see if the young lads had one (trainee post) and then we started discovering it does open up a whole lot of info on people. Problem can be trying to decide if it's people playing about on the web or if they are actually like that.

As long as you're not actually like a complete nob jockey on Facebook/Myspace, what have you got to hide? oooo there are pictures of you getting smashed, so what? doesn't it show you have a healthy social life and aren't a bedroom hermit?
