Anyone got any info/updates on this? I suspect it wont be out until Q2, I am praying not tho!

I believe the official Nokia website says Q2, but it's impossible to predict when it will be released - especially on specific networks.

Well officially its due to be out Q1, but not too sure if this is reliable. Having a look around it seems that late March is quite likely.

hmm my contract expires at the end of this month..

Is this guna be the phone that first comes out with the 5mp camera, only for another to be released later that uses it miles better making this one look redundant, or will the n95 get it right first time.

I'm talking about my experiences with the N80 here.

I like the look of the N95. But I bet the battery life is measured in seconds ;)

I also really hope they've given the phone enough RAM to breathe.

to be honest i have never known a phone to come out on time, and when it does, its never worth the wait as the slighly improved phone from anohter company will come out straight away.

just my opinion

Sexual Chocolate! Now which network/channel is getting it first?;):

The Nokia N95 will hit the UK market in the second week of March.

Distributors are expecting their first shipments of the device to arrive on the 7th, meaning it should filter down to dealers in the following days.

The N95 is Nokia's most highly specified phone yet and could be a means for Nokia to retake the agenda in the contract market, after a period of Sony Ericsson domination.

One distribution source told Mobile he had pre-ordered 2,000 units and that it was attracting a 'huge amount of interest' within the channel.

The UK is expected to have a two week exclusive over the rest of Europe on the N95. Nokia declined to comment on specific dates.

That does look pretty sweet - now to see how much it would set me back to upgrade once my n80 contract is up in the summer :p

I'll defo be keeping an eye on this as it looks like a great bit of kit !

I wonder how much it'll cost roughly, on a sim free basis?

I also wonder if they've allowed the phone more RAM, and more battery life. If it suffers from the same issues as the N80 et al then I won't be touching it with a bargepole.

.

It will probabaly start at a ridiculous 4-500 notes then drop down to a sensible 250 ish after a couple of months, sucks to be an early adopter tbh :p

Unsubsidised price is 550 euros (~£350, probably £400 once you've added the Brit tax).

I don't know if it has more RAM, but v2 of the web-browser definitely uses RAM in a more efficient way.

N80 hit the UK market at around £500 sim free, so the N95 is likely to be the same, if not more. The N80 is currently just under £300 sim free, so there's no way the N95 will drop to £250 after a couple of months. It will stay above £300 for 6-9 months.

well the N93 hit the market at around £450 (i got it just under that as sim free) so the N95 will prob cost about the same at first...N93's now (after 5 months) dropped to about £350 so would suspect the same for N95 ( this should be a great phone, and hopefully i should be getting this! :D

Hmmm, just checked 4 online phone retailers and all of them have the N93 at a smidge over £400. Where is the £350 price tag from?

Im due an upgrade end of may, how much is this phone likely to cost on o2 upgrade? Iv got an online tarrif and have been with them for 5 years.
