Nope havent noticed anything like that myself but mine seems to get stuck when trying to close the WLAN wizard...only way i can get it closed properly is by hard resetting the phone....strange problem/bug that is

anyone bought or can recommend a good cover for the N95...that isnt too big and still alows its full funtionallity? Such a cool phone...but very prone to scratching and damage.

Im with 02 , have they ok'd the update yet because i cant seem to update myn the way everyone else is.

Is it worth an upgrade from N80?

Definitely. Its far quicker, more stable, far better camera, bigger screen (although not as good however it still looks fantastic) and the battery life is better.

How much better is the battery life on the N95. My N80 needs charging every day and thats with just normal use (calls and texting)?

Not much better tbh, slightly better but if your a heavy caller/texter and use 3G and WLAN a lot and also not forgetting the GPS then the battery wont last long tbh.

Mind you i keep my n95 on charge every night so i can manage a days use pretty easily but by 10pm, its almost empty the battery that is.

The phone definitely needs a higher capacity battery thats for sure.

I really would have thought Nokia would have learnt a lesson from the N80 with so many complaints about the battery life.

Quite amazing how they can make such a good phone, then cheapskate on the battery.

Wake up Nokia and use your common sense!

Indeed, thats really the only annoying thing about the n95 tbh. Terrible battery life if your a heavy user.

Anyone notice that the mp3 player on the n95 is frankly quite rubbish??. On mine i get a hissing noise soon as i plug my headphones in...i dont use the remote control unit but theres an awful hissing noise even when theres no music being played. Also the sound is very muddy and not crystal clear..all in all pretty rubbish if you ask me.

Guess ill have to stick to my SE K800i and its brilliant mp3 player for the time being...

Can anyone else confirm this? I'm still umming and ahing about getting the phone.

Soooooooo , after reading this thread the N95 has *deep breath* dodgy battery life , dodgy satnav , dodgy mp3 player , dodgy barcode reader , dodgy speaker , dodgy call quality , dodgy build quality , K800i has the better camera  Have I missed anything ? ;)

And yet people keep buying / defending this or still want one , WHY ?????

Its the most feature rich handset on the market, all in a compact form. I didn't have most the problems you mentioned, but I still sold mean. I don't need all the features so I'm just going to buy a Nokia 8600.

Just for reference, if anyone is waiting for a shipment of N95 handsets to o2 for an upgrade, then you dont have to wait.

if you goto a store they will do an upgrade through the shop, you can keep your same number, get a better deal on the tarrif, they have them in stock and it will still be an online tarrif rather than a store tarrif.
