Nandos - Who has been?

The price alone of 3 whole chickens would make my eyes water, never mind eating the buggers!

I normally go for half chicken hot, with some macho peas and lots of extra sauce.
 
I do like Nando's, have a couple close by so always worth a visit. We also swap 'food' with them (as I work part time as a waiter) so I eat it fairly regularly.

It's good, but it's not amazing. Quality of food does vary quite a lot from restaurant to restaurant though. We have several in the City and some are really poor compared to others.

Wasn't it you who claimed to have a local take away closed because of something, you found a source which then disproved your original story.

I'm not trolling I just remember hearing something about it, and found a source too, they even have a statement acknowledging the story on their site, for some reason only the cached version works
 
I havent yet been in a nando's, heard about the hype, but not been too bothered by eating out, would rather order a nice takeaway and watch a good film on my sofa

First few tiems we went was nice, but expensive, justifiable by the larger portions tho.
Recently when we went it appears theyve stopped using chickens and started using pidgeons, the meat was tiny :(

I liek the larg ebottles of peri peri they have on the tables like, used almost half a bottle last time lol, on the chicken, on the chips, in the coleslaw :P

It's not really hard to do the food at home tho
 
Love nandos.

Normally always order the butterfly chicken or half a chicken with spicy rice and chips.

I think the hype around it all is because of a certain Joey Essex from The only way is Essex always talking about it and eating there.

I remember going to nandos like 10+ years ago also.
 
I do like Nando's, would choose it if I was in my local shopping centre but don't go out of my way to go. It is just chicken and chips to be honest.

Their macho peas are brilliant though. :)
 
Been twice, once years ago and it was pretty good, chicken was nice. Went again towards the end of last year and it was pretty rubbish in deed. Chicken wasnt great and tps ides where cold and rubbish.
The quality of the chicken has taken a nose dive and it's really ain't woth the money. It's now firmly in my fast food list along with McDonald's, burger king and the rest. In my maybe once a year bracket when you need something then and there. Rather goto GBK, or one of the other places, pub or chippy.
