US: Narcos

Watched 1-9 yesterday, looking forward to 10 this evening.

Enjoying it very much, wasn't expecting it to be any good but I was very surpirsed.

Got through the first 3 over the weekend and enjoyed it, only problem is having to keep my glasses/contacts in for reading the subtitles :D

Finished watching these last night. It was totally engaging, I love all this Clear and Present Danger stuff.

Great main actor, he did a really good job. I also thought Pedro Pascal (aka Prince Oberyn from Game of Thrones if you didn't spot it) did a great job as Javier Pena.

Best thing I've seen on TV so far this year, IMDb gives this 9.2 and I think that's spot on.

Excellent show but...

I feel it would have been better if it had ended with Escobars death but that's not how American series work I suppose

Yes tell the story properly but end the series with the death of Escobar which happened in 1993 instead of taking it to a second series covering Escobar again. I, personally, think that would have made for a better self contained season. A couple of more episodes would have done it nicely.

finished it last night was a very good series that caught me off guard.

will be interesting to see where they go next season.

Binged it yesterday enjoyed every moment, not sure why they've left it open when they could have ended it with that last firefight.

He did die in one

I had the feeling they wouldn't be doing a second, or at least be about someone else, since without explaining the rest of the story there isn't much left to fill out another season.
