National Identity Priority

Honestly.. after the full on ridiculous of trying to force us at work to ensure we state our sexual preference's and ethnicity, I know longer care about these type of ****.

I'm human I live on planet earth, and that's that. Judge me by my actions (etc) not what I look like or like.

It's not about how people judge you, its about how you identify yourself and that decision is yours alone.

If you can suggest how to get a poll showing the order of nationality people would choose then one can be put up but there's no way I know of to trace antecedents and successors in a poll to show priority. The only thing that could be done is to put up a variety of ways of identifying ones nationality and seeing which way was the most popular.

For myself it would be Scottish > British > European. However it depends on who is asking and why. I suppose I could claim to be English as my mum was born South of the Border but I've never felt particularly inclined to do so. My general preference would be that people should be able to claim the nationality they feel most strongly attached to but that's not workable in a legal sense - fortunately it doesn't matter what I think on such issues though.

Legally, i'm not British at all, but that's what I would answer if someone asked me.

British>English>Scottish>American.

I'm British, born in England, partially raised in America, Scottish Father, American Mother........
