Same people that made NS1 making this one? If so avoid like the plague, i could bore people with details but Flayra is what people sometimes call a 'Giant Douche'....

Wut?

You're saying that because it is made by the same people who made the original - i.e: a great game - we should avoid this one? You need to revise your logic somewhat ;)
 
Yep the closed alpha is out on a week monday to those who buy the special edition. Please note they will stop selling the special edition on this date
 
Can't see why the 'Special Edition' is double the price of the normal pre-order :confused: I mean $20 more for access to the 'Alpha' and a black suit for online play is just pure rip-off imo.

Hope the feedback is good as the original was fun.
 
For similar FPS/RTS style games, Savage 1 and 2 (both of which you can play free) come to mind. A game in a similar Aliens versus Marines setup (although not RTS really) is Tremulous:

I went for the standard version.

Not bothered about the alpha access or a black skin, hopefully the servers won't be full of tools thinking they're better than you because they paid more
 
I doubt it. The dark lighting in the game will probably mean you are not going to be able to notice the black suit wearers from the rest.
 
Mod was great fun playing it, but was hard to find a server that didn't have crap commanders on. Will check this out, although its been yonks for this to come out.
