NBA 14/15 Season

Yeah I didn't expect anything but still a bit disappointed :(

Now into the playoffs, really looking forward to it this year. I'll be supporting Cavs in the East and Rockets West.

We were unlucky to make the playoffs. Had nothing but problems with injuries since before the season had even started with KD, Westbrook, and so on. But to be fighting for a playoff spot until the last game in the monster that is the western conference AND to finish well above .500 when we were always a couple of players short of the starting 5 is brilliant. Next season will be a cracker for us when we're back to the normal starting line-up and what's looking like a killer bench.

Can't see anyone other than the Warriors winning it this year.

So glad the Pelicans made it, though I expect GSW to destroy them unless Davis goes overdrive.

Best game of the first round has to be Spurs/Clips, personally I fancy Spurs to turn over the Clips.

Will be interesting seeing how the Bucks and Washington get on as they are both good young teams.

@ rich, I'm a Bron fan you know that so I have to support his team :)

Westbrook and Durant have said they won't watch the playoff because Thunder aren't in.

BWAH HAHAHAHAHAAAAAA poor babies, their attitude summarises why i hate the Thunder and I am so glad New Orleans pipped them , though watching the Warriors destroy them in the first round would have been satisfying!

A full strength Pelicans team only JUST made the playoffs against an injury-ravaged team...

:p
Not really much of a point.

We all know it doesnt matter how you get there, you just make sure you get there.

To be honest though... Fully fit Pelicans... They might be fully fit now but im pretty sure Jrue Holiday was out injured until around a week or so ago and missed 40+ games so they were down a starter for a long time. Also im sure Eric Gordon missed a quarter of the season so thats the back court missing a huge chunk of the season.

But as for the Thunder being unlucky not to make the playoffs... its pretty rare these days to make the western playoffs with a .549 win percentage. :p So yeah the Pelicans we lucky to make it, but no, the Thunder werent unlucky not to make it.

And it sucks to be without your best players for a huge part of the season so I do feel for you Superpasty, but now the Thunder fans know what its like to be a Bulls fan... except for the part where the Bulls still make the playoffs :P :p :p :p :p :p

Fair point! I've not really been paying a great deal of attention to who has been playing this season with the Pelicans, just what there results were. The fight in the Thunder this season has been phenomenal considering there was basically a roster rebuild mid-season. Cheeky bugger! :p

I now know what it feels like to be a Heat* fan without LeBron with not having KD this season! :D

*Bandwagon fans.

I'm a Wade man, always have been always will be :D

Do love Bron though, it's fantastic to be able to watch soneone week in week out who will go down as a good arguement to be best ever with MJ.

To me that will never be an valid argument until LeBron becomes truly clutch. MJ wanted the ball and knew what to do with it when the game was on the line... LeBron wants the ball too, however he hesitates and chokes more than you would expect. He still has a ways to go before he retires though.

No matter how good LeBron is, not saying he cant be one of the greatest ever but the greatest... No, not a chance right now.

Interesting first round of games, hoping the Wizards can keep it up and win through, that will be massive.

The favourites handled the challengers well enough, it probably won't happen but I'm still half expecting the Bucks to pull up some decent results against the Bulls though I wxoect the Bulls to take it eventually.

Nice to see D-rose back. Still, every time he leaves the floor my heart is in my throat, the guys reckless when driving to the basket. Works for him though!
