NEARLY 2 WEEKS WAITING: Nissan GT-R is finally mine!

Hey all,

So today after 2 days of pootling around the squealing returned, so took them out and did a handful of high speed harsh braking and, problem gone again.

It seems that these pads just dont enjoy low speed work and need to be "abused" to keep them happy (quiet).

So after less than 2 weeks, decided to get rid of the Pagids, honestly they are too much work to keep quiet, and the noise they make is frankly embarrassing, it turns the car into a chore, so have ordered some DS2500's.

If anyone knows anyone who may want some pagid rs29's with less than 150 miles on them, letting them go for £380 :D

Ferodos turned up today :)

Hey all!

So, have decided the car isn't loud enough. Got in touch with Russ Fellows to have a custom exhaust setup made, I listened to various options, but most of them have too much rasp for my liking, or the ones I did like were stupid crazy money, so after speaking with Russ he is going to fabricate me something which will be very loud, but extremely deep and throaty, no rasp, and according to him no drone at cruising speeds! Sounds too good to be true right? Well time will tell.

Will also be heading to Litchfields soon to have a Stage 1 tune applied and also have the latest gearbox updates applied. So all in all, it will be louder, growlier, faster and smoother :D

So went through queensway tunnels today in Birmingham, tell you what I've never had such a stupid grin on my face. :D

Can't wait to get a new exhaust on it to make it louder!

I was entering Meir tunnel yesterday after selling some old suspension, there was a 4x4 on inside lane and as we approached the tunnel I spotted all their windows were dropping as they were looking in their mirrors. It is the first time I've put the new exhaust through a tunnel full chat and oh my, I wet myself hahahaha. :D

Combined mental age of Gibbo and Kindai.... pushing 10?

:D

Have been chatting to Noweeds today alongside Russ fellows.

Thinking of having something made with a diverter valve, so basically an in car button I can use to turn on "hooligan mode", but for when sensible is needed, push it and it will put it through the silencers.

The main concern is there enough room to fit it all!

Right guys, prepare to have your mind blown!

or if we needed more room, loop forwards and move the diverter backwards

After finding someone who made their own custom valved system for a GTR, they said simply, not worth it, the difference between a race silencer and a straight through is pretty much imperceptible.

So have been looking at some options.

This I love, but unless can find one in the UK, the cost to import it would be extortionate.

Same goes for an Akrapovic system, sounds great but honestly I cant stomach the thought of dropping £3500 on an exhaust.

However found these, and I think the sound is perfect!
