NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

Well great news for the value of my car:
I paid £35,385 and it's paid for now :)
Same car today from Ford £40,485

£5100 more expensive due to new tax rules and prices increase!

My first brand new car and boy did I get lucky, guy just sold his stock yellow one for £36,500 after a year ownership, nice little bit of appreciation. :)

Ouch. More than £40k puts it into the extra £340 a year bracket.
1. I believe the annual tax is already above the £450/year under the new scheme, so with the exception of the ~£800 higher first year rate the annual tax will be cheaper under the new system
2. Like you should be worrying about high VED when you're getting 17mpg anyway

Talking of which, anyone thinking of heading to the pod on the 7th, gonna be a fair few nice cars there I imagine.

Take it with you, it's horrible :(

+1 that carbon fibre bodykit does it no favours!

Think mine looks just as aggressive but at the same time elegant with a factory look.

That really looks like it hit a crowd of people who were all holding cf stick on tat.

GT 350 owner takes his car to the ring and does just over an 8 minute BTG lap with traffic, no idea if thats good but it looks like impressive pedalling to me.

And another lap but this time with mic externally:

Has to be one of the best drivers cars of 2016/17, FPC, V8, High revving NA, Manual, with perfect handling and balance, oh and only 60k. :D

Honestly on a TF day anything sub 8.30 BTG is pretty good going.

The REALLY fast guys (who go there almost every day) are sub 8 mins, but they're going balls out and know the track well.

Check out Xthilox on YouTube. He drives a modified Cupra R, around 360hp, coil overs, caged, semi slicks, BBK, etc. He's run <7.30 sometimes, but compare the speed he carries through the slower sections to that GT350 vid and you can easily see where he makes up the time.

Yeah experience is everything at the Ring, why Sabine was destroying everyone in a Golf. :D

But this guy is pedalling that 350 quite well, its completely stock, even the tyres are stock MPSS, its not an R so does not have the semi slicks or additional downforce from factory. He is an American living in UK, think he is in forces so is discovering how the UK/EU love doing track days. Have to say he seems pretty handy considering he has only being to the Ring once or twice I believe.

Very good effort.

Such a fantastic weekend weather wise I decided to really put these KW's through their paces, really fantastic kit, such great handling and precision, but the ride comfort is superb, though adding the steeda rear top shock mounts really made a great improvement to comfort levels due to them using a spherical bearing compared to the stock rubber bearing which are always binding.

Overall very happy, don't even feel myself for wanting much more power, though one can always have more but the way this thing goes from 80-120mph is so quick compared to stock.

Snapped a few photos of my drive out as I've not really posted any up on how the car sits on the KW's at the heights I have set myself along with my new wheels.

Car with me in it and a full tank of fuel was 1758kg with a 49% weight distribution on the corner weights, so quite happy with that. I am 85kg and a full tank of fuel must be 40-50kg so it puts the car around 1630kg so really not so bad. :)
