NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

Still zero for me on the road. :(
Seen plenty at the Ford dealership but that don't count.

Seems I was however spotted this morning and the picture got posted to facebook with the comment p0rn and in love: :D

Seems the guy loved the looks and the sound even more! :D

How did you find it on Facebook? Is there like a Mustang UK group?

HI there

Since I visited Alan at Pumabuild about a month ago who dyno'd my car and got me the SCT 93 canned tune he has being asking me lots about Mustangs.

Well last night he told me that meeting me and seeing my car has ended in great expense for him as a few days ago he picked up a cancelled order Mustang. Not only that he has spent the last few days fitting the same or very similar suspension parts to what mine is fitted with.

He just sent me this:

Seeing my car has turned out very expensive, as it was only a few weeks ago he collected his new Focus RS, now he has the Mustang and he also has the latest Audi RS6 too. Great collection! :)

Haha, nice one :)

I might pop in Tuesday as I'll be passing...will you and your car be there?

Sure will, M3 has not visited OcUK since I got the Mustang, lol! :D

Just ask for me at sales counter and I shall be down unless in a meeting. If not too busy and its dry will take you out for a spin. :)

Hi there

Spotted my first Mustang in Birmingham today on the way to a meet/BBQ (Mustang was not part of the meet) and have to say seeing one on the road was simply wow, incredible road presence.

Meet was great but I made two errors of not bringing my proper camera though iphone pictures did not turn out so bad and not putting on any sun cream, wooops.

it actually does need black wheels now, and black 5.0 badges - do it :p it appears to have more black than chrome apart from the window trim which breaks it up sufficiently.

No thanks. After seeing the cars there with black wheels from a distance they just look like black gloss steelies as you can't see the spokes or anything.

Plus the response the car got was amazing and so many people said how fresh it is to see such a car without black wheels and looks the better for it. :)

I know what finish I am going for, some will like and some won't like, but that is why we mod as we all like different things.

But you only have to look at the group photos above the cars with black wheels just get lost, might as well just be big round rubber tyres. :D

looking good.. Still needs a silver Mustang on the front though... :)

All black just looks horrid if you ask me. Bring back the 50's not enough chrome these days......

Phone cameras cannot pick it up so well unless in direct sunlight.

Here some photos taken with a proper camera. :)

Some people love the traditional chrome pony, I myself prefer the more aggressive look of it black, though an option would be to maybe plastidip it dark grey or matt black so it stands out a little more, though I like chrome I am just not feeling it on the pony on the front.

Gibbo, get these and run white for proper DRLs and multicolour for LOLs :p

I would but on a EU/UK car its a much bigger and more expensive job as I'd love to have front and rear sequential indicators, but it is far more difficult and cost around £1000 to do so not really hearing it.

Left to do:

- Wheels & tyres
- two-piece brake disc
- *MAYBE* CF driveshaft
- Whipple SC
- Changing gearbox & diff fluid this week!

Is what is left on my list. :)

Ouch!

Maybe later on once you've got other stuff sorted and there's potentially more options?
