NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

I used to get that salty when my pushbike broke down during the summer holidays too.

All we ask is you stop daydreaming / wasting peoples time and make good on what you say.

i've never heard of you before, i only respond to postings on a thread, you're just another poster to me.

the only guy i have respect for on this forum is Gibbo, i was talking to him not you, you and your troll friends butted in.

If it makes you feel better ive never sought your respect or that of others. Over time that is earnt if warrented and thats how it should work. You're accusing regular forum members of trolling when you have shown yourself to be a fantasist based on this and the Evo thread of many fails.

Tell you what....

You buy a new Mustang in the next 3 months and ill put your first 3 tanks of fuel in it! If you dont then we get to continue to pull you up on your dreaming. Deal?

that's a fair point and deserves a fair answer

i had made my mind up to get the Subaru WRX STI, until i saw the drag racing thread :D

there's three cars in the running........the Subaru, another Evo 5 (that i've not shown to anyone here) and a 1966 Chevrolet Nova 2.

but i cant make my mind up and i cant ask for advice here, but it looks like either the Subaru or the Chevy, but the Subaru is the easy way out, i prefer to buy something that's a challenge, i like to get my hands dirty and i love drag racing.

no we dont want this thread closed so that's it from me here for today

Wait youve changed your mind on a car because of an event on OCUK? You're going to struggle on my "bring your Learjet to Housey's BQQ" im just about to post. Id hold off on the Scooby, Gibbo's coming too so you can meet him there!

:D:D:D make that free fuel for the next year.

i'll try to keep quiet (quieter) until i buy something.....yes i do realise that i look stupid not buying something and that's definitely my fault ;)

:D:D no the Drag Race thread just reminded me how much i love it.......... you see with the scooby i've still got nothing to do, just buy it and drive it and wash it every weekend...............NO i want to build it up, race it, have fun in the summer, live my life while i still can, while i'm still young enough....i want to get out and meet other drag racing fans i want to hear the roar of engines.

To be fair to him the '1966 Chevvy Nova or a Subaru Impreza' decision is a common car buying conundrum.

Right alongside '2007 Ford Transit SWB or Smart ForTwo Coupe'.

Mate stop with the ramblings. If you can do it, do it. If you can't find away you can if it's THAT important to you. World is full of would have, should have, could have's, it's people who make **** happen that get my respect, not that it should be important to you. Most people have a dream, then spend the rest of their lives bleeding hearted about why they couldn't achieve it and why other people were just luckier than them. What is stopping you doing it this weekend? If it's money then what you going to do the change that? My advice is, for what it's worth, until you have STFU about what you're thinking as it's a little, well, sad really.

Good luck!

that's a really good post
yes you're right, live the dream before you're unable to because time is running out............. i say exactly the same to the young guys at work too.

Right no more ramblings please in my thread, otherwise I shall be forced to do a cleanup, I do not mind answering questions you have if they are genuine and you are actually making a purchase, otherwise any questions you have can no doubt be answered simply by reading my thread. :)

You also said that Shelby will be here by the end of the year, LOL, HAHA, LOL seriously get a grip the Shelby won't be here at end of the year in RHD and a diesel Mustang will probably never arrive, why?

The Americans make the decisions regarding Mustang models, there strongest market is USA, where there is absolute zero demand or request for a diesel Mustang, if America does not want or need it then it will never come to EU/UK, fact.

i never said anything about the Shelby variants, the aussies have a fantastic charged V8 they use in the Falcon XR8 500 bhp on overboost and Ford Australia have nothing to compete with Holden after the Falcon goes out of production in October, maybe Ford Australia will throw some Ford Racing parts at a few cars and offer a semi official hot mustang. but they have a cracking engine ready to go and i'd be very surprised if they don't make use of it, then you have the matter of the 4l Turbo lump :) again very capable and just ripe for dropping into the mustang. who knows.

as for my thoughts on a diesel mustang..... perhaps perhaps not, i'd like to think it would never happen but mustang looks and kiddy on MPG figures would be a good seller

talking of charged offerings, any more thoughts on charging this one?

Might ring up and change my order to yellow, rather than lighning blue. After seeing more pictures of it, I think it's a bit too ordinary.

Well that escalated quickly...quite the entertaining read!

On another note, sucks that your Mustang is still out of action. Must be slightly gutted and incredibly annoyed buying a car like that and not being able to drive it...still, bet it looks good on your drive (unless its garaged)
