Yes, BeHardware (sister site ?) often use the phase twinkling for video, but fourmillement translates to swarming, perhaps more accurate as it doesn't infer brightness.

Depends whether you're a gamer or not I suppose, and also whether you want CRT-like black levels or not.

Sometimes, it's not essential that you consider only the panel "type", when short-listing any desired monitor on your shopping list.
