Well, I finally bought this case and finished assembling it. This case has some nice features but it's far from perfect. Fitting the side panels is a fiddlesome pain and I've managed to cut the end of my index finger rather badly somehow. Cleaning dried blood from brushed aluminium is more difficult than you think. This was one of the most fiddly cases to assemble I've come across. If I knew about this before I bought it I may have gone for a Silverston.
I moved my system to the 830 from a Coolermaster Black Widow. My system runs a couple of degrees celsius cooler in the 830 but makes about the same amount of noise using the standard 2x 120mm fans. My CPU is cooled by an Arctic Cooler 64 Pro.
All in all, I'm a trifle underwhelmed by this "engineering masterpiece."
Is the 201B the Black Widow? If yes I agree that it's a fine chassis. It sits now empty by my desk. I've had it for a couple of years and it still looks good. However, having earned a Purple Heart for a bleeding finger sustained in the course of a long and fiddlesome transfer of my system to the 830 I have neither the energy nor the inclination to upgrade back to my Black Widow.
As to whether the 201B is one of the best chassis ever made, I'll leave that to your better knowledge. I note that your sig is a Coolermaster logo. However, the Stacker has rather shaken my uncritical acceptance of Coolermaster's design and quality.
You seem to have replied to my email referring to your "slave monkeys." One of us is confused. Yes I sent my email to the address in your post. Do you want me to try again or has the thought vanished?
