Ok wow that is good!
Mmmm, must resist.......
for more detail the set actually costs £899 from john lewis, I got it price matched for £809.99 iirc which is now not available, so you will need to try and find your own price match if you can. I then used £105 worth of vouchers which I was given as a present last year. the deal for the glasses is also first come first served and only running until the end of this month with not many left.
so I am paying £704.99 cash for the 50" GT50
basically you would need to order today or tomorrow to be in with a chance of receiving the glasses for free and they are worth around £100.
they are active glasses, therefore a lot more expensive than passive ones, also samsung sell compatible ones for £15 iirc, whereas panasonic's are £45+, I don't know if there is any difference in 3D quality between the two but the price difference is huge as you can see, so I really do hope I get them.
if I don't get the glasses then fair enough, they were just a bonus, I can steal the D8000 glasses from downstairs which are compatible I hope (50" GT50 is for the bedroom, 51" D8000 is in the living room and has 4 sets of 3D glasses, 2 came with the tv @ £769 and 2 were bought from comet for £15 each).
plasma's are being phased out, this may be the last year you ever see such a deal, that is why I am buying now, if you wait potentially you will not see a tv of this quality at this price brand new again for a very long time. especially if it is true this is the last year (2013 models) of the GT and below being produced. from next year it is supposedly VT and ZT only which are very very expensive sets. this is all rumours though, nothing confirmed.
