Need for Speed Shift - Time Trial Championship

Starting to get the hold of this 360 controller now plus did a random bit of tunning and POW almost 2s of my time :)

I have this :) On my perfect lap i feel i could get to 52s and on lucky one to 51s :) God it's hard work this car, think i'm gonna have blisters.
I'm on a game pad as my R440 forcefeedback doesnt work in win7 and shift. :(
May try installing shift in xp to see if that works.

Just a suggestion: Is there any chance of having MotoGP style scoring system, where first 14 riders able to score points compare to only 8 in formula one style scoring system.The only reason i am asking this becuase having more people on the scoring board will keep more people interested in the competition in a long run.

Thats a fair point tbh and it would probably keep more people trying the new challenges even if they are outside the top ten rather than just think "cba everyone is faster than me"
 
I have seen this posted on another forum

Bouncing cars - lots of people have taken a stab at fixing it, playing with the smoothness of surfaces and default weights and downforce, grip level, cg etc. I just went through and installed/unpacked the game to see which fix in particular is dealing with it (the problem can make eg. the koenigsegg ccx and carerra gt undrivable at spa). Just increasing the base physics tickrate by itself seems to be enough to disappear it.

So if you're on PC unpack and open up \vehicles\physics\physicstweaker.xml

Find the line

<prop name="tick rate" data="180" />

change it to

<prop name="tick rate" data="360" />

and see if you can still make anything bounce weirdly.

Anyone have any views on whether implementing this would constitute cheating for this challenge?
 
I think like the real mod its a mod so not allowed .. But like anything it cant be proved who is using it so meh :/

I'm not sure whether it makes sense to install or not - I think my cars drive fine :) Though they are slower than everyone elses :)
 
so im hardly started on this game, i can only access stage 2 upgrades on this car. is every1 running stage 3 upgrades or are stage 3 locked out for the beemer
 
No i would guess everyone is running T3 . You cant do works on it so just T2/T3 etc

But just T2 will let you learn the track and car and get it dialed in and you level up as u do more laps even in time attack
