Need for Speed Shift - Time Trial Championship

Well i have been putting my new PC together so i can finally make use of SLI but this seems a bit of a hard one to beat i can't even get close to the time i had really frustrating some corners don't even touch the brakes

1.32's at least :(

Looking forward to seeing Nikaz's settings to get an idea. Out of interest I use auto gears - what are the sub 130's all using - manual?

I know it's not a massive deal but I'm still confused as to why Nikaz' clock in his vid only starts once he crosses the start/finish line rather than as soon as he takes control which happens in mine. Can anyone explain the difference? I just always have to treat the first lap as a tyre warming exercise.

Also surprised at how clean his line is through the corners. I only got my time by cutting several of the corners as far as I could without being penalised. Interesting to see whether Nikaz could shave off a couple of secs by cutting or whether it is merely a placebo in my eyes.

Anyhow, nice driving again sir, I think we know who the winner of this little comp is gonna be :D

Confirmed my first lap is also a tyre warming exercise - pain in the backside tbh. Would love Nikaz's settings just to get a feel for how much I could gain from them - I suspect I would still be in the 30's - decided I brake to much and need to use my momentum more.

1st lap is same for me, clock starts right away not as i go over start/finish line, so adds around 6 seconds? to 1st lap time.

I propose a rule change..the lowest points scorer at the end of each round chooses the the next rounds car and track...i think it would make it fairer for everyone.

Well the trouble with that (speaking as one of the lower points users) is that generally they probably won't appretiate the tracks and cars in the same way as the guys pulling the very good races. Also it's a nice incentive for the winner. The alternative would be to vote on the next track and car - probably could work?

Incidentally, my clock doesn't start ticking until I hit the start line - A lot of the time the first lap has been my fastest. Wonder what that's all about.

Yea my clock doesnt start till i hit the line. My fastest lap the 1:26.660 was the very first lap of the session.

Personally i think the winner should choose, i just hope its not all 'supercar' type vehicles through all 10 rounds.
