Bad news mate

I've had one or two PSUs die and not had to replace anything else, so hopefully that's all it is.

Using a Corsair 620W modular here and happy, but they're not the cheapest.

same here. great psu and very quiet.

Can someone who is getting into the 1.38's etc post a video of their laps please!!! I'm not getting anywhere near that (1.41.5's etc) and don;t really see where i can make up 3-4 seconds a lap!!!! Mucho thanks!

Sorry about ur PSU mate

I would recommend the Corsair 620 or 650. But as mentioned above these are not cheap.

Had a Hyper somin R in one of my early C2D riggs, PSU went pop in less than 2 months, all the other parts were okay though, hopefully it's the same with you.

Have just picked up a "High-Power" 650W modular psu locally for £80. All nicely braided cables and so on. Plugged in and all is well thankfully.

Would have probably ordered an OCZ from here if they had any in stock.

& inam22. Uploading vid to utube as we speak. As soon as it's published I'll post. Not the greatest but the last lap is a 1.38.140. It's hard being smooth with fraps running in the background.

Nikaz my car dont handle like that

i cant get under 1.45 and it just understeers like a biatch on the last segment .

Dunno what im doing wrong but there is now way i can go that quick tbh .

Is the official patch out yet or are you still running vanilla v1?

If you've got the real mod enabled, try with it off. I've tried it both ways and the car seems to have much more grip with the default settings.

Otherwise, there should be absolutely no difference. I'm running the patched version, Nikaz isn't so there isn't a big difference that could be attributed to the patch. Also check if you are using any driving aids. Sometimes I use them sparingly but with this one, the car just feels much sharper but only a little more twitchy with them all turned off.

Also don't treat the track marker guide (if using) as gospel. Have found on a few tracks that there are faster alternatives. In this one for example the guide turns red along way before the right hander at the brow of the hill and stays on most of the way through the corner. You actually only need to brake slightly on the incline and the car will grip pretty well throughout the turn itself.

No mods at all . fresh install. Hence why i wondered as looking at the clip i dunno how he is so quick

I dont follow the lines and have done aqbout 40-50 laps and best being 1.45.

not sure then, gotta be something wrong. Dodgy controller perhaps? Not getting full acceleration? Either that or you're just being way too heavy on the brakes. The car grips like a grippy thing so can't see you losing much time due to lack of traction....:s

Thanks for video, ageed that seemed like it was on rails!!! Might is all over the show! No mods or anything - might turn trying turning off all the helps and see how it goes

ooh now this could be interesting, after experimenting with the racing line on one or two corners I reckon I can shave some more time. Have managed my quickest ever time through section 1 and reckon there's a few tenths elsewhere. Have turned ABS on as well to reduce a bit of lock up. Have managed a few more 1:37s without hitting a "perfect" lap so this week might not be over just yet........

Just need to get it all together on the same lap.......

Thanks for posting the video Nikaz, still loosing time in last two sector's, I think i need to change my lines and breaking points to improve the last two sector times.
