I was thinking one of the London tracks as well. Haven't driven that car yet so yeah gets the thumbs up from me. The Royal Mile is that the twisty one of the two? Quite technical in some sections from what I remember
 
Kudos to who ever beats this. Not saying it's unbeatable but the concentration required on braking, keeping good lines whilst maintaining speed & above all else throttle control on ONE lap is just immense.

Cheers. I like your London Royal Mile track suggestion. I'll go play with a few cars. Am thinking maybe the reward car Audi R8 LMS or whatever it's called. Pretty sure everybody has reached level 20. We've got to have a combo using the reward Porsche at some point, a little stumbling block is it's a level 40 reward car.

Quite a bit I'd say, maybe a second on some tracks.

Actually there's not a whole lot of difference with this weeks combo maybe half a second, less than I expected anyway. I achieved a 1.37.550 using auto. Even with more practice I don't think I could manage 1.36's.

Copse is no different

Maggotts & Becketts complex I don't use the brake at all with manual, I enter Maggotts in 5th, I then change down a gear as I switch from left to right & drop another gear to 3rd on the switch right to left. Stay in 3rd changing up to 4th entering Hanger Straight. With auto I have to brake otherwise I run wide at each change in direction.

Stowe is pretty much the same except you have to wait for the car to change down to 3rd before turning in.

The car stays in 2nd gear too long at the two chicanes thrashing the gear.

At Priory it drops to 2nd when you need to stay in 3rd

Luffield it's going up & down between 2nd n' 3rd. You need to stay in 2nd (throttle control) until the car straightens then change up to 3rd driving for the Start/Finish

been having a go a this today, also trying manual gears, best i could do...

i've come to the conclusion that i'm just rubbish at driving, but having lots of fun trying, he-he...

It becomes second nature after a while, you won't even realise your changing gear. Also get used to the sound the engine makes through the rev range, especially at peak revs. You won't need to visually check the rev meter when to change up or down a gear. Meaning you can concentrate more on the road ahead, picking your braking point for example.
This will help in other racing games as well where using auto definitely hinders performance.
One last thing. On the xbox pad I use 'x' (blue) to change up & 'a' (green) to change down. I don't use the shoulder buttons to change gear. 'b' (red) is handbrake & 'y' (yellow) nos.
 
The reward Porsche should be a fun car. But like you say not all of us are @ level 40 yet.
I'm still @ level 30 something, stopped playing the SP mode ages ago.

This thread is the only reason the game is still installed on my system.

Yeah i agree. Completed the game a while ago, and would have probably unistalled it by now had i not found this thread.
Btw great time NIKAZ! Been around a few more times and have definatley reached my limit
