^ Need for Speed Shift ^

Yeah, but when they don't release a demo it feels like they have little confidence in the product, and are counting on people buying it to find out what it's like. I don't mind if they finish the game first and then make a demo after when there's less pressure to release. I realise people often use 'other methods' to try the games out, and I can see why when there's not a demo, not that it justifies it.

That was exactly my thoughts. I think they learned they're lesson from Prostreet, I tried that demo and it was boring, handling was rubbish and the graphics were stuttery beyond belief.

These trailers and previews don't give me a great impression of the game tbh.. they seem to all be a bunch of people ramming each other

I like: The inside of the car blurring when driving at speed.

I don't like: The grunts and moans from the "driver" when crashing.

I don't like the grunts or the blur when you hit something - gay

The whole thing while I'm sure it's very competent and everything, looks dull as ditchwater to me but we'll see.

Judging by the vids nice gfx indeed but on a whole nothing seems unique (apart from the cheesy driver coughing/grunting).

I was expecting something more sim-like.

i've given this game a lot of flak from the looks of the trailers, but ive just had a peek on wiki ( i know not the most reliable source) .. but this game is being made by people who know their stuff.... Developed by people who helped with gt legends and gtr 2 .. tyre physics developed by someone who worked on richard burns rally... I think theres still promise that this can deliver

"proffessional setting will require a wheel to fully master throttle and braking, aswell as steering" .. If the game turns out to be very unrealistic NFS will have gone a very long way to lie about the game and dissapoint people.. Something i dont think would make any sense

IMO except for the vaseline that is constantly smothered in your eyes i'd say this looks fairly realistic..
