Cheers guys. Not unexpected really. I suspect Microsoft have thrown some money EA's way for an exclusive. Hopefully it will eventually find it's way to other formats.
To be honest with you, I want more tracks, e.g
Monaco,
Monza,
Hockenheim,
Adelaide,
Bathurst,
Suzuka,
Hungaroring,
Zandvoort
I don't want much LOL.

Yeah, those two sections are all about getting the right braking point. Also consider if you get a really good run at the corner you may have to brake a little earlier.
My braking point for the bus stop is just at that kink at the curb on the right. Brake hard while dropping to 2nd then let off the brakes (important) as you approach the left turn. Take a bit of curb for the right & accelerate changing up to 3rd as the nose of the car is pointing towards the short straight. For the long left curve try an hold a steady steering position to maximise acceleration for the approach to the final hair pin. You should be in 5th on approach.
The hair pin. Stay left following the racing line. For braking ignore the red zone, use the section of track where rubber has been put down indicating where other cars brake. You want to start braking about a car left in to this area. Once again brake hard then let off the brakes turning as close as you dare to the wall. Wait for nose to clear the wall then power round changing up from 2nd to the finish line.

Agreed NIKAZ - more tracks would come ahead of new cars for me, even Ferraris! Also I wish they would make it so split times could be saved instead of resetting each time you start a time attack, would make hot lapping a bit better I think.

Cool time danswan. There's an app that records your lap/split times. Works well. One niggle though, it doesn't work in Time Attack mode, only Race.

Sorry guys I won't be able to do a vid as my game machine is borked. Keep getting BSOD during the Windows Starting logo. Can only access Safe Mode which won't let me un/reinstall ATI drivers.
BSOD message is something about Atikmpag.sys.
I've tried a ATI driver cleaner in safe mode but that hasn't helped. Everytime I install the driver (9.12 or 10.1) it BSOD on reboot.
Think I'm going to have to reinstall Win 7 unless any of you guys have any ideas before I go through this process.

Edit: Could my GPU (4870x2) be failing?

My game machine is back:D
Wasn't my graphics card after all. Bloody audio driver for G35. Went back to using my other headphones after unplugging G35's and all is well. Well so it seems.
I can only think there's a conflict with the HDMI audio on the GPU, how else would the BSOD relate to the GPU.

Just been watching your vid. You drive this combo almost identically to me. I just use more of the track in some sections, mainly on the exit curbs. You'll see in my vid once it's up. I don't think it will make a lot of difference but I have ABS off btw.

Kudos to you Nem. Nice vid.
I've tried that view for all of about 5 minutes & absolutely hated it.
One advantage of that view though is you get too see a clearer view of the cars behaviour. e.g Sparks from bottoming out. What Ride Height are you running at the rear btw? You may need to raise it a little. If you feel it's high enough already you could try stiffening the rear suspension a little.
A little tip about Ride Height. A higher rear creates a faster car in a straight line. I'd recommend NOT exceeding 20 between front & rear though. Basically what's happening is as you generate speed down a straight the Aero forces hit the rear wing thus lowering the rear ride height of the car to match the front, the ideal in this scenario.

Danny - What can I say. You got me there in Week 10. Just to get my excuses in early 'my machine was borked' so unable to fight back. Congrats on a great time & second place overall. Four placement improvement if I remember right.
Wedge - Firstly, I'd like to say a big thank you for the support with your Website. Saved me a job. Greatly appreciated. Secondly congrats for the superb performances you showed in weeks involving twisty circuits with short wheel base cars, nobody could get near you. Although you missed out on third place (I think), you've jumped up 9-10 places since Season 1. Well done

The Biggest Thanks of all goes to everybody who took part during Season 2 (& 1). Without you, this thread, my time as well as others would be better off spent else where.
