Need for Speed Time Trial Championship ** Season 2 ** (Multiplatform)

Works converted.......say what now!

How do you go about 'works converting' ya motor :o

Only some cars can be works converted. What you need to do is buy every single upgrade available for the car, then if it can be, it should say in the bottom righthand corner of the screen. You then have the press the 'return' key to purchase it

Actually on keyboard to purchase the Works Upgrade you press the 'Back Delete' key. On xbox360 pad the 'Back' button - little white button to the left of the Glide button.

Oh yeah, my mistake, forgot some people arent using a pc.
Anyways slighty faster time:

Getting better
<snip>
Could see me gaining quite abit of time if i could use manual. The car just seems to bounce of the redline in 1st-3rd, no matter how much i feather the throttle

Don't worry too much. Manual is no breeze with this car either. I'm not exaggerating when I say it takes two to three sec's to go from 3rd up to 5th & back down to 3rd again on some sections. I manage 27 gear changes per lap. Add to this the fact I have to come off the throttle at every gear change otherwise I experience severe clutch slippage.
I might give auto a go to experience how this game handles these gear changes.
Where you definitely are losing out is slowing the car down without engine braking.

Good time Lewdogga.

LOL. It was the 'Return' key I was correcting. For some reason (maybe cos it refers to Back) the game developers decided 'Back Delete' would be a good choice to select Works

Nice going, now who's going to be first in breaking the 49's barrier any takers ;)

Allow me :D

'Now' with works upgrade lol, i tell ya, im not normally at the front with the best times, but me and this car rock!!

Slightly lower tyre pressures, full downforce, default gears, manual :)

Not blowing my own trumpet but i rekon i car squeeze a 48, something, i slightly missed one corner with that lap.

What settings to fiddle with to achieve full downforce guys?

Switch to Advanced Tuning (Yellow button on X360 pad I think) in the Tuning Menu option. Far Right column is downforce (pic of a rear wing). Move the sliders far right for both front & rear.

Sorry I think I've misunderstood. To achieve FULL downforce set both the Front & Rear Wing to max - Far Right on the sliders.
Also setting the Ride Height of the car as low as the track will allow (Bottom of car NOT touching the road) creates downforce.

I am surprised that Wedge achieved time of 49.90 even with 2 mistakes, i can see 48s coming from Wedge with perfect lap.

Yeah i reckon wedge could pull of a 48s lap. I finally broke it the 49s aswell, but this was a perfect lap from me, so i guess its just auto gears that are holding me back now.
