Need help with stop gap car

The 307 was very widely regarded as a significant step down from the 306 in just about every regard. Except, perhaps, size.

Yup. I had a 306, it was awesome to drive if typically french in build. No chance in hell I was owning a 307. The late 306 HDI was hilariously unreliable in the electrics, and it's not a pretty thing.

13 years and already in the crusher O_o

Lasted longer than most Ford KAs I suppose lol

Had you read the OP it snapped the cambelt. You'd do an engine change on a 13 year old car worth peanuts, assuming you can get the parts cause of lockdown?

Well that was quick. And how sensible of DVLA to send me a cheque when banks are closed instead of offering a bank transfer.

You're spot on McNumpty. I just checked (pun intended) my app and yes it has the option to pay in cheques. There's a button that says 'Take Photos'.
Ee by gum, the technology we have today, eh :p

Very useful
Even though cheques are used less nowadays
It's still great to have the option in the app
Especially given current lock down situation

Yep. Held phone camera over cheque, it scanned it and took the photo. Had to take 2 pictures and I guess it selects the best one. The cheque is now paid in. :)
