Neighbour's trampolines

I'd just carry on doing what I'm doing.

If people are looking you should just print an onlyfans link on the windows and at least make some money out if it.

Nothing's free nowadays.
I tried that and despite you being located outside my house since 2018 you've not sent me a penny. ;)

I've got one in the garden. Only providing what I didn't have as a kid. I had a swing set but always wanted a trampoline as my friend had one. The little one hardly plays on it. Tbf the dogs get more enjoyment out of it :D

Some real kill Joy's on this forum, get some blinds if you want to walk around naked. Simples, let kids do kids stuff. Much better than been stuck on a video game indoors.

So it's fine if they trampoline and just stare into your house? He's on it all the time unfortunately.

Trampolines get used a couple of times then that's it. Every parent I know is like this. We have had one in our garden for nearly ten years and I can count on one hand how many times it has been used for any real length. Missus will not let me take it down. At the moment it is storage for kids toys!

Sadly not. Relentless trampoline user.

We've got one for our 6 year old, had it 3 years and he uses it anytime weather is nice enough to play outside. Set it up around April each year and dismantle it around early October. We've got it setup slightly to the side of the house so it wouldn't be intrusive to any neighbours. Did have it on the lawn for a while but had to keep moving it as the grass underneath suffered if it stayed in one spot too long.

Seems like the right attitude to me.

I swear sometimes OcUK has become mumsnet.

You're too kind.

I've read whole thread, and I have to confess I'm still confused as to why the existence of the trampoline stops you walking around naked in the kitchen?

It doesn't, at all. I just hate the fact that this child actively watches us whilst he's on his trampoline. And he's a ******.

This morning, 7 AM, he's screaming and shouting at his mum. Running out the back door, slamming the gate, running in the front door, slamming that, then stampeding through the house. Stupid **** Star the swearies please

Trampolines are the garden equivalent of grey walls, corner sofas and silver curtains. That and fake grass.

*Lights touchpaper, runs*

Live in a terrace with old dear on one side that never leaves the house, and we have a completely shared garden since I took the fence down. Other side is a single woman with adult kid who we only occasionally hear playing the piano. End of the garden is allotments, the peace is amazing. Most noise we have is the birbs, dawn chorus is pretty loud.

Tampoline ... tick
Grey walls ... tick (goes with everything)
Corner Sofa ... tick (Maximised the space we had)
Silver Curtains .. ye what now? Sorry I have let you down :(
Fake grass ... tick (for animals and pets one of the best things I ever did to the garden!)

For a sensible reply to OP

One way glass film, you about windmilling and cartwheeling all ye want

No impact on you, no children being scarred for life and no indecency claims lol

Fake grass is my pet hate. I've even removed some of our grass for a wild flower bed.

@413x convenient, very low maintenance, amazing for kids n pets they can go out all weathers and play without coming back in covered in mud, was fantastic int he snow too made it dead easy to pick up the snow for me snow bricks.

Compensated with a few raised planters and let them grow wild for the insects n stuff, I do see theres rumours that some councils are being contacted regarding council tax impacts of having a real garden versus a plastic one (at least in random press type reports google has fed me lol)

Or for an even more sensible answer, OP just continues to walk around in house naked when he wants and stops worrying about what other people do/think?

I get the convenience. It's just a shame really. But wild flower beds and artificial is better than just an immaculate lawn.

My lawn is full of wild stuff. Dandelions in particular now!

One section is completely wild! Strim it twice a year. So many random flowers.

Edit. Also. Every room in the house is a different colour theme! But that's person taste! :D

See a lot of places are doing boxes of wildflower seeds for very little now 3/4 quid as well

Im tempted to go grab some and chuck them around the grassed areas at the newbuild were on lol

When they cut the grass they leave all the cuttings and it looks a right mess

If we ever move house, the next one won't have neighbours. I've seen a house, it's a little run down, but it's in the middle of nowhere :D Perfect!
Same.
When move. Even if you have nice neighbours, never know when they will move and some right ***** will move in

Like six months ago for us :( Terrible new neighbours. Bumped our car the first week they moved in, denied it, then owned up, said they would pay, they never did......saying they had no money lol (changed both cars and paying £1,400 a month rent yet no money?). New car is a stupidly loud RS5 which shakes the house. He sits on the drive revving it for 10mins before going back inside.

This needs a bit (a lot) of work to modernise but I love the fact it's not near anyone

Exactly. You never know. Wasn't that many years ago was renting in an end of terrace.
Regularly would hear the gf/wife retching from what seemed to be some eating disorder.
Bf/husband swearing at thier young child. And frequent arguments. Got to point of nearly going round at one one heated argument. Was horrible.

After that it was detached all the way. Managed to get a detached for my first home. Never would go back to semi/terrace

Our old, old neighbour (probably about 15yrs ago now) used to park his car on other peoples driveways lol Once his wife came round for a parcel and said something very strange about not upsetting him. Didn't think anything of it at the time.
Then found out the police had taken her into protected custody as he was beating her up

Does remind me of a guy who I worked with telling us about his neighbour who would bounce on a trampoline to watch him and his Mrs going at it. They weren't exactly an attractive couple:(.
