Netflix is going up to £9.99 & £13.99 next month

Just a heads up for anyone that hadn't heard of Netflix price increases for next month

Its standard monthly package will go up from £8.99 to £9.99 and its premium one will rise from £11.99 to £13.99, but its basic plan remains at £5.99.

Saw this on MSE. Luckily the £5.99 package is staying the same. I don't utilise it enough to warrant HD.

Am on the £11.99 (13.99) package for 4k
But i may drop it down to the standard HD £8.99 (9.99) package as i watch very little on netflix but it is used all the time by my nieces & nephews..

I feel the 4k package should have only gone up from 11.99 to 12.99

11.99 to 13.99 is a 17% price increase that a huge increase.

Yes there saying that

But also they must be getting a huge amount more income from new subscribers

I'm on the £11.99 for the 4 screens, which have been handy. An extra £2 a month isn't going to make much difference, so I'll stick with it.

Not too bad if you share it but in Dec 2019 Netflix has made a statement saying they going to crack down on account sharing from outside the household.

4 screens is great if you have children

But pretty much useless when your single and still have to pay for a 4 screen package just to get 4k

Netflix is not the only stream service to increase there prices

such as Disney+, which has also announced price rises of £2 per month up to £7.99 or £79.90 for a full year.

Yes like normal start cheap to get loads of subscribers and then push the prices right up
