using netflix on ps3 for months now having issues today with the US DNS settings, just wont load to the netflix menu! any work arounds?
Same problem here. If I can't access the US site from it I'll be cancelling as the UK version is awful and the new releases haven't been updated since I joined in February.
Are you paying for Unblockus or did you keep using the "Trial"?

im not sure what unblockus is, ive just been using a primary and secondary DNS that i saw on a thread somewhere to allow the US netflix to appear

How do I get the US version then guys?
If you have access to someone with a canadian/us itunes account yes. You have to login with their account and then login to your netflix account. The instructions are on the Unblock.us website

It's a couple of pound a month. There's a free trial which works for an undefined period of time but they do cut leechers off periodically which is why you get people whinging in this thread about US netflix not working.

Shouldn't need to do that, at least you don't need to on iPhone/iPad. The uk app works fine. Just need a different IP, I'm currently using a VPN.
The only annoying thing I've found with Netflix is the (imo) awful lay out of the site. If they could give a better way of navigating available stuff and adding simple things like a watch later list this would be a perfect service.
I dont find it any slower, is this a common problem?
I have Netflix (uk) on my PS3. Just cancelled my sky subsciption as £60 a month is a little too much at the moment as we are cutting back ready for the mrs to start uni again in September

had to give them a call last week as i got an email from them thanking me for rejoining, pointed out to them :
a) i hadn't rejoined, and
b) it was charging me in $ not £'s.
said they've sorted it , but i've set reminders over the next few months to keep an eye on my bank.
as per king i've found the layout/navigation to be pretty awful and had on/off problems with the streaming pausing, slowing down , and when i tried to refresh it, it would get to 20-30% and just sit there, had to reload the site on a fresh browser session.

Not as far as I've noticed, prison break is definitely on the us library though.
I only used one proxy during my trial to take a look at the US site (I used "Stealthy" the Chrome extension) - but it was pretty slow.
I imagine if you use a decent proxy or VPN your experience would be different.
What do you use to view the US site?
