Never ending dandruff?!

head and shoulders shampoo ought to sort it out

(also isn't this technically a medical thread?)

It did for me. My scalp was always flaky no matter how much or little i washed my hair until i used it. Got rid of the flakes quick smart. I still have to use it every now and then but mostly get away with normal shampoo.

otherwise get T gel from your local chemist

failing that perhaps go see your doctor if it persists - make sure it is dandruff not psoriasis or eczema or head AIDS or something...

Oh god, not the head aids, I've seen that before. Horrible fate.

Dandruff is skin cells so no, it's not hair gel etc.
well I know it's not but when people have little white bits falling out their hair when they come it/brush it after applying hairgel etc in the majority of cases it ain't dead skin cells.

If your barber ever asks what hair gel you use he's giving you a hint that you need to change

True but the thread is about dandruff not hair product gumph ;)

Do people go to the barber with stuff in their hair? I go with clean hair every time so they don't have to deal with it, even though it makes me look like a microphone.

While rinsing the shampoo out your hair run a brush or comb through it to get all the shampoo out. I had very bad dandruff and this method helped more than the medicated shampoo's

yea I go looking like a microphone and pray he's open

tbh I've had this,
Nizoral Anti-Dandruff twice a week for 4 weeks, then once every other week sorted it right out
but you're going to have to keep applying as it'll come back if you stop.

As said, not same as op but I had

Head and shoulders - fail
Tea tree - fail
Nizoral - fail
Steroid - win

Sunlight did help, stress inflamed it

you need polytar shampoo, but its hard to get atm as something to do with renewing the license for it

can get it from Thailand mail order
