Seems decent so far played a few hours earlier the combat is slightly more involving than most other MMO's (other than TERA). little bit worried than that world sometimes feels not too MMOey in the case of fast traveling and "phases" but their seems to be nice pvp and raiding group finders and i guess thats the direction most MMO's are going towards these days. not bad for free to play at all. Apparently a lot of stuff can be bought but im not sure of that yet!
 
I've set this downloading, and with how slow my Internet is, it might be ready for me to have a play next week. Quite interested in this, but I haven't read a single thing about it. :D
 
I have been trying to get this game to run for the past 4 hours, i have reinstalled it 2 times, redownloaded the whole game, tried pretty much everything, but everytime i load the game i just get a black screen then it crashes with some error, this time i have deleted some files and it did a file check and its downloading another 2.3gb.

I have downloaded about 30gb tonight trying to get this to work!! :mad:
 
Having got through the launcher problems and fought the 1800+pings the game is pretty good fun. Started with a rogue and found the combat brilliant.

This game deserves more interest !!!

have you downloaded the different exe the Dev's posted on the forums < LINK > there might be something on there that can help.

thanks for that, i just rage quit and deleted everything and started downloading the whole thing again, i will test if that works tomorrow! :)
 
I tried this for about 5 minutes.

I must be getting old but I just found nothing of interest - it all seemed so depressingly familiar, as an ex-WoW player.

The first bunch of enemies just stood there, waiting for me to walk up to them. I guess that'll be fixed, but either way not a great way to demo your game to potential customers.
 
Well it seems uninstalling the whole thing and downloading the whole game from scratch from the direct download fixed my problem, i was in a queue of 2300 at 7:00AM but it only took 10 minutes to get in, finally managed to make my character! If only i didnt have to go to work :(
 
Didn't get on last night, but managed to create a human, Guardian Fighter is it, on Dragon.. Only 3 servers is a bit worrying, but understandable given how some recent titles have had to cull the amount of servers they have once the initial buzz has worn down.

Each server had a queue of 2k give or take this morning at 8am.

Anyone know if they plan to add a ranger type class?
 
logged in and was 5k in the queue, went to get a drink and i was suddenly 85k in the queue lol... Maybe I dont understand how queues work but i thought you were supposed to get closer to the front over time not further!
