Hi All.
I have a pretty modest system:-
MSI H81M-E35-V2 mb
i5 4460 cpu
8gb hyper x 1600 ram
2 x 120gb ssd
500w psu
I play games on a 720p plasma.
I had a 960 in this system and was pretty happy with it. But the time had come to upgrade so I switched it for a 1060. Specifically:-

Most online benches show the 1060 kicking almost twice the framerate of the 960. Now, I appreciate the rest of my system is not great; im not so naive to believe I would double my performance. But I expected a decent 20%-30% boost.
But, to my surprise, I saw very little difference. Some games eg Hitman Absolution, benched exactly the same as my 960. Ive tried GTA5, Primal and Tomb Raider. All show very little improvement.
I know my PC is likely bottleneck-ing due to the other components, but even taking that into consideration, getting virtually no performance bump seems a bit off. Maybe the card is faulty? Do any of you knowledgeable chaps have a clue whats going on? Is my CPU/MB/RAM really so poor as to see very little improvement?
