I'd say I'm against the euro purely for the economic reasons. And I suppose I have to take other people's word for it that it's a bad idea since I don't have a clue about it myself. If it wasn't bad for the economy then I'd think it's a great idea..:MBK:. said:well you can...when everyones economy lines up...however that is never the case thus why some countries economies got stung by joining the euro and others prospered at an increased rate...its mostly the reason the UK doesnt join the euro as we would get stung by a single bank policy (aswell as all that patriotic lose its identity, never felt it was part of the EU lark)
thats my basic understanding of it anyway, pick it apart all you want
All the more reason to have a UK team instead of separate ones. It's stupid the way it is now.trojan698 said:The irony is that most English people argue that Scots perpetuate racism by refusing to support England in sporting events
On that note, I think we should have an image of the prophet Muhammed on them, just to make a point.Freedom said:p.s. This dont mean that I would like a picture of Allah the Muslim God on our Britiah Notes
AJUK said:Agreed, Adam Smith was a great man and probably deserves the accolade but there are way too many jocks represented all over the UK so we don't need another on an ENGLISH bank note.
***, I think a lot of people here need to grow up, if they dislike the note that much, do something better than post in this thread about it.DAVEM said:If it wasn't for people like Adam Smith we probably wouldn't have a bank note at all, GROW UPmaybe you should read his work before quoting?
