New 3 Sim only pricing

If i order a monthly contract SIM does my contract start when i receive the SIM or when the SIM is put in a phone and used for the first time?

And also how fast are Orange at giving out PAC's?

It'll be the expected delivery date. Since they use next day delivery, it'll be the day after they post. That's how any mobile contract has worked for me.

You'd want to apply online so you can get cashback via topcashback I have £50 tracked for signing up to Ultimate Internet 600, I hope to switch that to the one plan tomorrow.
Cheers mate.

So just wait till it pops up online and then go through cashback. I am going to sign up as a new customer as I have just turned 18 :D

Can I then ring Three and get them to move my number off the plan now and onto the new one?

I just pay up my final month on the existing plan?

It's changing later in the week. Quidco / topcashback will update a few days after the website changes.

Interesting, will be looking to end my 1 month rolling contract (The One Plan) and get the cheaper deal for £18. Will call Three customer services towards the end of the week as I want to cancel my Wifi dongle sim plan which is also a 1 month rolling contract and get a better deal - am looking at the £12.90 all you can eat data deal.

Not even close, it's an add on for most and even then it's separate to your data allowance. With a GB or two. It's the one plan (only certain one plans) that have unlimited data and tethering.

Will be interesting to see the ins and outs when the website is updated.

I've never understood why they shave something called the one plan, yet is massively different.

£20 12 month sim only 2GB no tethering
£25 one month sim only all you can eat data with tethering.

Both called the one plan, makes no sense.

It might say 1gb for tethering but if you check your allowance it never actually go down it might be because of the all you can eat data that I have(£12.9) so not really sure if it stay 1gb/unlimited on other plans

3 website now has updated pricing......there is some discussion around whether the TCB/Quidco values are correct, mind. Still, I imagine it would track and the final amount is subject to change?

Yea was just going to post about the new price update. Some good prices. The £15 One Plan is just the one to go for. For that price and what you're going to get.

Don't think anybody can beat it.

If the website has updated and TCB is going to track I am pretty much ready to order but really could do with some opinions on whether you can port a number over a few months into a contract. Want to run my current Virgin Mobile rolling contract alongside for a few months. If I am then happy, I plan to get my PAC code from Virgin and move it across to Three.

Anyone ever done this rather than at the start of a contract?

Could one not get the £15 The one plan 12 month sim, slap it in a 3g modem or phone and just tether to the PC and enjoy 1000gig per month ?

Or am I missing something really silly here!

But those sort of people are the reason we can't have nice things....

Rubbish, if companies advertise it as unlimited then it should be unlimited.
Or they should do what EE do and advertise it accordingly.
You could also have a middle ground with say a 100GB limit but say that, not call it unlimited.

It's all the companies with FUP we can't have nice things, they undercharge, so can't afford the infastructure and then complain when you try using what they advertise and then introduce/change their FUP.

I joined Orange when there was No FUP, it's now "Unlimited" with a 3GB FUP, how is that unlimited.

It is time to change to three one plan. I don't mind paying extra as I'm a heavy user, what I don't like is false advertising.
