GOing to buy either the GT, GTS or GTX tomorrow. Just need to decide :)
Got a waterblock for the GTS sat next to me but it would be going in a 120.2 loop with a Q6600 so might be too toasty to keep the cpu cool!

Ah well, I can always wait a week, Ive survived on an x300 for weeks and not even thought about playing a game. Just be nice for Xmas holidays :) But I sure as hell ain't paying through the nose for a card

Those benches are looking good.
I'm glad it doesn't trounce the GTX though, would have been absolutely gutted since I bought a GTX a few weeks back just before the GT came out :p

At 1920x1200 its still the king :D

With the price drops the GTX still seems a pretty good buy.

How come ive seen GTS cards with 512mb memory in stock elsewhere when they arent due yet? looks like nobody is buying them though.. not much point when u have a GT.

and i think also that we are way overdue for a new highend card, its always the same when games like Crysis come out.. thats why i think crysis is a pointless buy, its not smooth enough to be enjoyable.. i mean 10-20 fps minimum is a joke lets be honest.

i bet even a next gen card wont be able to play crysis fully smooth, it will still dip to the low 30's in fps.. still cant understand the logic in releasing a game that runs like crap like that.

Cod 4.. now there is a game that runs brilliantly imo, they must have optimized this game very well.

Btw, apparently next gen cards arent due until around June, which i find hard to believe.

I've just noticed 512MB GTS popping up here in shops in The Netherlands, around the 315 - 330 euro mark from PNY, Asus and XFX, not in stock btw but a shipping time of 1 to 10 workdays :o ;) For me that's to expensive over the GT's for the performance you get from them I guess.

Hi Perfect.

I find your comment about Crysis being unplayable a bit strange. Maybe if you max out all the setting to high etc then it is unplaybale, but I'm running it on my rig, at 1900*1200 with medium settings which look very decent to me and I don't have any problems with the frame rates. While I don't know the exact frame rates that it's running at, the experience is that it's smooth and I don't get any jerkiness during gameplay.

I guess there isn't a stock problem like the GT's then?

HI there

Not for the launch no. For the GT launch we only had a small amount of cards for the day and it took a while for stock to start flowing better.

The GTS launch has not been brought forward so much better time for NVIDIA and partners to prepare for it and hence we have a large quantity for the launch week, how well stock will flow afterwards though is anyones guess.

Its a good product that performs close to GTX or same in most cases and the GTX only shows its strength at higher resolutions or when AA/AF is in use.

1. BFG (No Games)
2. EVGA (A Crysis Bundle will be available for extra money)
3. Asus (Possibly company of heroes, will double check)
4. Point of View (Settlers 6)
5. Gainward (Tomb Raider 25th anniversary or whatever it is)
6. PNY (None, but will double check)

1. Gigabyte
2. Leadtek
3. OcUK brand.
Gibbo,

any chance you can let us know which cards come with what (full) games please?

If not tonight then can you try and make sure its clear on the product page tomorrow? . . thanks! :)
