Fill in the details you need, declare value etc. It all depends on the box size etc as well, my package for the 27" has shipped with Dell quoted as 17kg. Wont you need to put in the height and other dimensions too? Imagine it’s a pretty big box and that assumes you ship it in sells outer packaging and no additional packaging. A photo earlier in the thread showed a monitor on a pallet?

I was quoted £20 by ups to send a graphics card to Germany insured for £500 so can imagine a bulky and heavy monitor box up to £1k being a lot more!

Yeah that's what I'm saying depends on the box sizes etc. Honestly UPS is not that bad at all for the prices, I did price up a 70cmx50cmx30cm box as a guess but that's why I've said it depends on the size of monitor and the value of the product too. I'm sure it's the 27" one he's bought.

It will be under £100 easy and by quite a bit which is what he was looking to pay.

dont worry you will get used to it

when i first got my curved screen i didn't like it

i even wanted to return it and get the inferior X34/PG34 as it had a lower curve radius

but after a few weeks i didnt notice it and even prefer the curve
 
Finally got order confirmed. I hope that 11th December ETA is a bit conservative and I will get it sooner, but looking at how long it took just for confirmation it is probably accurate. Either I ordered it a bit too late (Sunday afternoon) and missed first batch or it has something to do with my location. Anyway, this is still way better than trying to get 38WN95C for 2 months and never getting close :p

Hopefully there are no issues with this display because if you add all the crazy availability issues on top of your usual returning/exchanging processes then you really have a recipe for half a year of struggle.
