** NEW ASUS MONITORS - 280Hz, 43 INCHES, ELMB, G-SYNC ULTIMATE, FREESYNC2 AND MORE ** **

Love Asus but these monitors are well overpriced ! when you got LG banging out top range monitors for half the costs.... You have to take in to context we can all go and Buy the TOP OLED TV LG 55" Screen with G/Sync for £1000 so having to pay £900 for 27" is like WTF

What is the appeal on the 1440p 170hz one, the pg279q has been available for 5 years now all the hype for 5 extra hz and abit faster panel?

Thinking of trying the PG43UQ when it comes and then wait and see what thee LG brings later. Fits pretty much everything I am looking for apart from OLED.

I’ll be reviewing the TUF Gaming VG279QM soon with 280Hz IPS panel and ELMB Sync. It’s arrived with me today :)

Will you let me know if you can strobe at 280hz? I had a fear it may of meant you had to choose 280hz or 240hz strobed.

I am going to buy the 24inch version, The main thing i need to know is the blur superior to 240hz TN. There is a 0.3ms Acer 240hz TN that has 90% of pixel transitions but the IPS were only capable of around 60% which is an incredibly worrying trend when they try to sell Fast IPS.

just checked and the ELMB-sync mode can be enabled when running at overclocked 280Hz, and it's in sync with the refresh rate :)
