Well, I got an unplanned body kit for my car today courtesy of a speeding drink driver flying 'round a blind corner:

Went to hospital for xrays and everything came out fine, apparently I will ache in the morning!

Yeah, his car was in no state to drive away either.

The police have given me his insurance details but never took mine or asked me to give them to him, does this mean he has admitted fault and is awaiting me to put in a claim against him?

Nope, but with police there and being found drunk he is almost certainly found to be at fault. Just ring the 24hour hotline and start your claim.

As has been said, I think the fact he was drunk will make it a pretty open and shut case.

Hope you're alright - the car looks like it's held up pretty well compared to some crash tests/pictures I've seen of Saxos before, how fast were the cars going?

Any diesel on the road?

Nasty stuff good luck getting it sorted out, reminds me of when i piled my Saxo into a kerb and wall then almost wraped it round a tree.

It did ok for a 30 - 40mph impact, damage wise it looked very similar to yours actually.

Do you remember exactly what happened? Or was it just that he came screaming round a corner and "got" you?

FWIW I think that's a Furio interior, so it would be a 1.4.
