^no point.
basically you'd want your operating system and all your programs on the ssd - this is the thing that will make your system feel snappy and responsive.
and also depends on how you see it, some people like to segregate their data, some won't.
the reason to get 2 drives is that the 2nd drive will be the mass storage drive, where you store all your big data files such aspornpictures and video files.
this drive doesn't have to be a fast ssd. a normal hdd will do...so can save some money there...if that's what's required to meet the budget.
one big 2tb nvme ssd for ~£280 vs one 1tb nvme ssd (£150) and one 1tb hdd (£40) - the price difference is ~£100
another thing to consider is the risks of potential failure:
1 drive = all data lost if it fails
2 drives = half data lost if it fails, but double the chance of failure since there's 2 drives involved
(but as always, backup, backup, backup)
(of course there's other things like RAID with running 2 drives...but i won't get on to that)
true. journey and i live close enough. lol.Feel free to pop over if you get stuck since it is your first build, @tamzzy will tell you I'm not (a complete) nutter.
I really think it's worth squeezing in an Ultrawide monitor when you are on this sort of budget, it is the only thing you can's upgrade or change once you've committed, and it makes playing games way more immersive due to the peripheral nature of our vision.

Any recommendations on ultra wide monitor?
