This might also seem like a stupid question but would installing the correct drivers from the website help me ?
I'm desperate to get onto this PC and start doing things on it lol.
I have posted in that section, I'm really tempted to go to my local shop and buy another card. I took Monday off work to mess around with my new rig and I can't even use it now![]()
Ok then - I'll phone ocuk in the morning and see what they say... Things happen I guess. Just a little bit of a pain in the ass.
You could just do that and return the faulty card for a refund then.
I should just give up - phoned my local shop and they are quoting £50 to fix provided no parts are needed, would this be everyone else's next step?
It's just so strange that the r9 380 works but the 390 doesn't.
I will try updating the bios and disabling the Intel gfx when I get home. Failing that I will try a cmos reset. The only thing that made me not do that last night was when I put another card in it worked fine.
did you do any of this ? because changing default on board graphic to the pci-e in the bios or bios update are the first things we advised you, and i have a feeling you didnt try it yet, because you didnt update us on it.
