its HPI clear, never been in a smash.
HPI will tell you if its been a total loss, it will NOT tell you if its ever been repaired or been in an accident.

Wasn't the one that guy tryed to sell after telling fibs about its condition in this colour?
Nice car btw, very good price too.
That was a VXR220 iirc
HIC
For me now, knowing what I know now, my advice would be to buy one that has already been modified.
If you're like 90% of VX owners you will want a new full exhaust to set it off (£1k), then induction sorted (£400), naturally a remap to make the most of that (£250). The 2.4 inlet manifold now offers brilliant value so you simply have to get that (£250).
Then Nitrons (£1,400), a geo (£175), proper sized wheels and semi slicks (£1k), RS14s (£250).
Hardtop to make it look brilliant (£650).
Bugger, you've spent £6k before you've got it near a track or done any driver training
Muncher - what driver training have you done? How much is it and have you been doing it in your own car?
Carlimits activity days with Andy Walsh, not a massive amount of actual tuition on those but when you do 9 or 10 of them it mounts up.
Have got a training day with Andy Walsh, but just need to pick a date, that's £190.
They're all in my own car.
