Yes, if the CFM and static pressure are accurate. I know calculations using watts are dependent on motor efficiency but I think it's fair to assume both motors here are pretty much the same design so about same efficiency. HP results of .07 and .1 HP are drastically different than 1.75a and 1.8a or 21w and 21.6w... and they should be similar.

H100i wattage is .028% more than X60
You say H100i fan is .43% more powerful than X60 fan.

That's a long way from being similar. I cannot believe we can get a 43% increase in power with a .028% increase in wattage. Defies what I learn in physics. ;)

Fan blade design has a significant impact on the output which is why it is better to use the cfm and static pressure.

If by issues you mean rattling fans and official firmwares killing them then yes it is. :D

I'm sorry your having issues. I really wanted this cooler too:(

When is the NZXT Kraken X60 release date? Will it have a cooler LED cap like the h100i? (lets be honest here, the LED was a big selling point for me on the h100i):D

It's not a bad cooler and even half dead it's doing ok. But if you have a decent high end air or H100 there is really little point in getting the H100i. Most H100 owners would have replaced the fans long ago with something decent and the H100i offeres no real cooling advantage over the H100.

If you are wanting an all in one cooler and have a low end cooler it's worth getting one. Just don't use the onboard fan controller and leave the firmware alone..

Hmm looking into getting one of these myself, i currently use the PH-TC14PE but was wondering if its worth changing as i don't know if there will be much difference. The reviews say so i but i think the results look unrealistic.

Vortez review is is not really a good look at what is what.

The H100 and now their H100i tests are done with cooler radiator mounted in top pulling air from inside to out. Now this is normal but the problem is when they test air coolers they are not making sure all of the hot cooler exhaust is the case so some of the exhaust mixes with the rest of air in case heating it up before it gets to the air cooler. This keeps happening as long as they run the test and obviously the inside of case ends up several degrees warmer than it was when they were testing the H series CLC coolers. So the ambient cooler intake of air coolers ends up several higher and as a result the CPU temps end up the same several degrees hotter.

Tom Logan gives it a gold award and says it's better than the H100. I don't agree but hey ho I'm always a little dubious of his reviews considering he is sponsored by Corsair. He does not mention about rattling fans or firmware problems that are all over the corsair forums...

He held off the review until the software update was available then did the tests/review. He stated this on his FB page yesterday I think.

I'm gonna be frank.

I've re-read the whole thread and the only think I've taken from the re-read is that Helios and doyll have some form of 'vendetta' against Corsair/Vortez

Knowing that Helios is a former employee of Vortez may be a factor, with doyll hanging onto his coat tails.

Perhaps a don could extract the nonsense from the thread leaving people with the real info on the h100i rather than the embittered personal grudges ?

Couldn't put it better myself, this thread turned into a bit of a trollfest

I have given in and ordered a replacement H100i. Hopefully this one will work and my current unit is just faulty.

Brave. Very brave. The simple reason why I'm not doing the same is that I cannot afford to lose the amount of time that I did on the original - several days - again on the new one. I hope you have better luck.

I think were these Corsair CPU coolers on Dragon's Den, they wouldn't get investment. I quite fancied one actually, but between the older models and the newer ones I have read far too many people complaining about them.

Shame.
