NEW DAYZ - Dayz Arma 3 Exile mod (How standalone should have been)

For fans of Chernarus from the Arma 2 DayZ mod, there's Desolation for Arma 3 I have just seen, but a bit late as I saw a video posted from 13th December. Anyone using this ?
 
Played Desolation, wasn't overly impressed especially with the hoard of Zombies running through buildings, through doors and attacking me :p

Will stick with Breaking Point, at least it doesn't have those retarded bases from Exile

I thought BIS shut down Desolation due to the simularity to SA?

You should give Taviana a go dude, the only down side to it, its too big. Not as big as Cherno, but everything is more spread out over a smaller distance. If they got rid of the extra islands it would have been far better!

Tho, i'm waiting for Namalsk, should be out within the next few weeks!

I'll chat with the guys online later. Everyone has spent the last few days getting all conceivable Exile suggested add ons installed as it's been impossible to get a game together with someone always missing something.

I've played Tavi before, I like it and Namalsk a lot. As long as there is a decent player base, we'll be online.
 
@Thegoon, well I just played a version of Desolation on Arma 3, I see there's a few there but it definitely loaded everything correctly.

Arma 3 workshop > search > Desolation. It's the second one listed.

MGT is by far the best stable Taviana, tho numbers have been dropping recently.

Na bro, not for me. I'm done with vanilla type Dayz.

I've been playing on the EXO Cherno server tonight, absolultely amazing, loads of missions, constantly PvP and loads of money to be made. It was great, hardly any lone campers because there are so many missions and you can bulldoze missions if you're in a big group!

Shout out to Buck and Jimlad 2nite, good fire fights!!! Just waiting to find a ISP that will do Namalsk.

PS, Nobody should bother with CCG atm, they have reserved slots on and its literally impossible to get on there... Absolute joke!
 
Anybody looking for a server to tie you over until Namalsk come jump on the EXO servers, they're using CUP terrain, while i'm absolutely sick of Cherno this server is fantastic, has so many missions up at once nearly always leads to PvP or you get to get to get away with all the mission loot!

Been told the admin are upgrading peoples bases for free as the server is quite new!

Come jump on :D
 
I'll take a ganders later too. How do I download all the mods needed for that server?

I only have exile currently and using the Steam launcher (?)
