Questionable quality PSU's.

That makes me laugh. For a PC which doesnt use a dedicated GPU and running at stock (85% of the worlds PC's) then these are ideal.

I know that we have a big enthusiast base and for them this product isnt very useful. We do cater for all customer types though.

not everybody has a gaming pc.

this isn't designed to run a 990X @ 5GHz

for a quiet little H67 system it would be great.

Do many people actually buy these nameless, questionable quality PSUs from you? I'd assume that most forum members know better...

These power supplies are however, likely to fail or cause damage to other hardware if they do go pop, correct?

They're not as likely to go pop if they're only running low end components, for a cheap budget PC.

If you stick an i5 in it or something and it pops, it's just as much your own fault for cutting corners on the build and trying to be cheap.

those PSU's might be able to provide enough power for little PC's, but they will almost certainly provide that power with a large amount of ripple. the number of times ive seen a review of a cheap PSU exceeding ATX specifications on the ripple is astonishing.

also, when a cheap PSU dies there is a 99% chance it will take something out with it.

put that together with the almost certainly sub 70% efficiency level then it would be better in the long run to get something like the corsair builder series 430W if you have a little PC, and why anyone buys a cheap PSU is beyond me

The front design of this case isn't that bad really. Apart from the 80mm fan at the rear, what else can be fitted?

if you could get it without a PSU for a reasonable discount then i'd probably recommend it for a budget PC. as it is the bitfenix merc alpha or the fractal core 1000 are close enough to this case's price for me to avoid it

Perhaps Ace, you also might like to mention it only has two sata connectors etc with the psu. Not a lot of use if you were wanting raid and a dvdrw etc.

Rubbish! Show it a slight fluctuation in power or similar and I assure you it will! Low end components now for a business machine could be a i3 SB for example, not that cheap to replace.

Ok we get it, you don't do budget cases. As Ace said though, they have to accommodate for everyone. OCUK are a business, and they have to target as many areas of their market as possible or they will lose out.

whered you find out how many SATA connectors it had?
if your going by the picture, there might be some more hidden behind that frankly tiny amount of cable spaghetti (seriously, i have more than that LEFT OVER from my bequiet 530W when thats powering a pretty decent gaming PC)

i'm assuming you meant he doesnt like budget PSU's. to be honest, there shouldnt be a market for budget PSU's because they are far worse than the decent brand low end PSU's, and work out to be more expensive when you take a look at your electric bill a little bit further down the line

*edit*
just posted an idea in the product suggestion section that might remove all the forum hate, yet still get you the business from those looking for a cheap as chips case + PSU

There are 2 SATA power connectors, and there are also 3 Molex connectors and a floppy.

The PSU is made by CIT.
