Gestures seem very unresponsive for me. Swiping up at least 3 times to
open my camera app. I've gone back to stable for now, as it was really annoying.

lots of things are still a bit rough around the edges, but it's functional enough for me to continue using it.
Not going to update until it's on the release channel tbh.

Caved, liking the direction Nova is heading. A few quirks with the Beta but overall very usable. Animations for Lollipop are smoother/more refined than before too in earlier versions.
Especially liking the app drawer which is now totally smooth

GoneMad music player has been Materialised and updated. Think I'm going to ditch PowerAmp now as this is great. It uses its own audio engine like PowerAmp and supports embedded star ratings, something PowerAmp has lacked for years even after many requests. Really like the customisable smart search feature too, can list only songs by ratings and much more.
I've just spent ages organising my apps into folders like the above, only to realise I've been doing it in the tabs section. 
Edit: Placed apps in the folders but some are missing when I open the app drawer. I take it this is a bug?
Never mind, had to take them out and put them back in.

What's the best way to keep android contacts backed up? Off the phone.
Manage your contacts via GMail.

Hmm...
Not sure what I am doing wrong, but Google doesn't seem to be syncing new contacts and adding them to those stored.
I am doing the following:
Contacts > Accounts > GMail account > Sync Now
I must have had 10 or so contacts in there from some time ago and they are all in my Contacts on the mobile with the G logo displayed, but not the ones I've added over the last few days.
I realise it's only obvious as I'm a techy, but it still surprises me people don't know this.
You are logged in to the same accounts on your phone and browser, right?

I have 27 contacts in the mobile group My Contacts. I have 11 contacts in the Google Systwm Group also named My Contacts. I can't see any way to move the contacts from the mobile group to the Google system group.

I fixed it. Exported all contacts to the SD card then imported. Chose Google as the location.
Do you have to use the credit all in one go?
Easy...Nova Prime.
